Are you a radiology technologist looking to take your skills to the next level in the field of interventional radiology? As a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions. This role requires a technologist who can work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, has strong technical skills, and can adapt to changing situations.
To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a radiology technologist, a certification from the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in good standing, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and others as required by the facility. Experience in interventional radiology and certifications such as the VI (Vascular Interventional) or IR (Interventional Radiology) are preferred.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Assisting physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures
Operating imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, and angiography equipment
Preparing patients for procedures and positioning them correctly for imaging
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment and ensuring that all equipment is in proper working order
Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in interventional radiology

Biopsy procedures
Embolization
Image-guided pain management procedures
IVC filter placement
Venous access procedures
