What is a Nuclear Med Tech?

Are you a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist seeking new opportunities to provide diagnostic imaging services using radioactive materials? As a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will have the chance to work in various healthcare facilities, performing nuclear medicine procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.   • Performing nuclear medicine procedures, such as PET (Positron Emission Tomography) and SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography) scans
  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitoring their response
  • Operating imaging equipment and computer systems to capture and analyze images
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret nuclear medicine images
  • Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining medical records
  • Ensuring radiation safety protocols and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Following quality control procedures to ensure accurate imaging results
  • Providing education and support to patients regarding nuclear medicine procedures.
