As a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will have the chance to work in various healthcare facilities, performing nuclear medicine procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing nuclear medicine procedures, such as PET (Positron Emission Tomography) and SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography) scans
  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitoring their response
  • Operating imaging equipment and computer systems to capture and analyze images
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret nuclear medicine images
  • Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining medical records
  • Ensuring radiation safety protocols and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Following quality control procedures to ensure accurate imaging results
  • Providing education and support to patients regarding nuclear medicine procedures.
