Other notable destinations in North Arizona include Flagstaff set alongside the San Francisco Peaks which has the largest ponderosa pine forest, Museum of Northern Arizona, and is close to a number of national parks and monuments. On the south side of Arizona lies the city of Phoenix, the largest in Arizona. Notable day trips in Phoenix include the Heard Museum which is one of America's largest collections of Native American art, Phoenix Museum of History, as well as the Desert Botanical garden which has a great collection of desert plants.
Are you a nurse with a passion for diagnosing and treating heart conditions in patients? As a Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN, you will have the opportunity to put your skills to the test in a variety of healthcare facilities, helping to diagnose and treat heart conditions in patients through the use of advanced cardiac catheterization procedures. This role requires a nurse who is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, has strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and can adapt to changing situations.
To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting, an active RN license in good standing, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and others as required by the facility. Additionally, experience with various cath lab procedures and certifications such as the RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist) are highly desired.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Assisting physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterizations
Monitoring patients during procedures, administering medications, and ensuring their safety and comfort
Documenting patient information and updating medical records
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities
Providing education and support to patients and their families

Coronary angiography
Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS)
Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
Electrophysiology studies (EPS)
Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) placement
Pacemaker implantation
Ablation procedures for arrhythmias
Left and right heart catheterization
Angioplasty and stenting
Fractional flow reserve (FFR)
Cardiac biopsy
Ventricular assist device (VAD) placement
Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) placement
Chronic total occlusion (CTO) revascularization
