Leveling off…
There’s a little more red on the map this month as rates and volumes subside. After a strong March and April, May has seen a dip, especially in the Southeast. In the colder parts of the US, rates have increased with North Dakota, South Dakota, Pennsylvania and Virginia enjoying some nice rates. The West coast has also seen rates stay high, with Washington posting some of the highest-paying Technologist orders. Hawaii has posted some very nice Cath RN orders for anyone looking for the island life! It’s only natural for the market to take a little break after a strong March and April and we certainly anticipate attractive rates coming as we prepare for the fall. Keep an eye on the new Covid strain that supposedly has a spread advantage against the current strains, as that could significantly impact nursing rates into the Fall!
